A personal note from Jalil

Dear Friend,

Nothing gives me greater joy than seeing how God uses your partnership to rebuild broken lives. I reently had that privilege when I met Louay. He’s refugee from Iraq who you helped care for, and who now walks closely with Jesus Christ!

When Louay first left Iraq, he was a broken man. He’d never heard the Gospel. But through your support, he experienced the love of Christ in every meal, CarePack, and warm smile he received.

And that’s exactly the kind of impact you’re having in countless other lives around the world. Whether building feeding centers among the violence in Kenya or providing food and aid to Syrian refugees in Greece, you’re showing people who Jesus is and what His Gospel is about.

Yes, it’s heartbreaking to see the pain and devastation these families have gone through. But be encouraged knowing that we serve a God who exchanges our ashes for beauty, our mourning for joy, and our despair for hearts of praise! (Isaiah 61:3)

Please be in prayer as we seek to meet the $10,000 Challenge Grant in full -- and rebuild more refugee lives in Jesus name.

And if the Lord leads you to give a special gift today to help meet this grant in full, I’d be so grateful. Remember, your gift will go TWICE as far when paired with the grant.

I’m so thankful for you, and thrilled to stand with you as we seek to rebuild even more broken lives through God’s love.

Salam,
